Is it worth it ? - A student from IIIT Allahabad.

Why i choose this course: because i have interest in the course and want to explore greater placement opportunities. Faculty: the ratio is 1:20 and faculties are spread over various fields. Qualification of faculty : faculty here are really good and are very focused towards their particular course. Exams : exams here are done on midterm and endterm basis . The difficulty is quite hard as questions are given by the faculties and also taken from other foreign popular institutes.The exams can be easily cracked when studying from the start.

Internship:There are variously companies that heir for the intern position and some of them also include very big companies like google , facebook that are part of faang. Outcomes: there are various projects going on within the college and some start-ups are also produced through the college.Most of the ceos of the conpanies in the silicon valley are from iiit Allahabad.

Eligibility: students are eligible for placements from 7th semester or we can say in the starting of the 4th year. Companies visited: you can view the whole list easily on the web and can be easily analysed.no of companies is around 250. Highest and average package: for the previous year the highest package offered was 1.4cr and average package was around 31lpa. Percentage placed : previous year the percentage placed was around 98. Further plans: my plan is to grab good placement and aim for higher rank in the company.

Fees : yes there is fee hike in the college . Cost is quite decent and apx 3lakh per year. Scholarship: these can be explored inside the college and can be given on income basis. Job: for now i can only talk about seniors . Yes they have grabbed great internship with highest 2 lakh stipend.

Fest: annual fest is effeervesnce which is generally held in the month of December or January.yeah it's good and popular stars and singers are invited. Tech fest name is "aproksha" where various people from tech fields are invited. Library: there are apx 20000 books here in the library and 8000 are there in the form of ebooks. Classrooms: classrooms here are well built and maintained. There are projector facilities for interactive learning. Faculties here are also good. Extracurricular activities: This the point where i would say the college lags behind the other. The facilities here are limited. There is a swimming pool and 1 big ground . There are 2 badminton court made of cement in each hostel. Clubs: there are chess , cubing and other various clubs which focuses on the that particular field.

Room facilities: Room here are equipped with 2 beds , 2 lights , 2 table and chair pair and 2 almirahs. Meal : meal is served in the mess which is there for each hostel. The quality is variable and depends on the tender going on . There is mess committee for the complainants of the students. Registration process: The registration is very simplified and can be easily done in various hours. Hostel is well equipped with various facilities and complaints can be registered to the warden if needed.Overall hostel life is good.

Eligibility of the course: It is totaly based on the rank of jee. Good rank includes good branch. Application form ,fees , dates: you can find application form on the josaa website. The whole process is done through josaa counseling. Dates are also available there. Fees is apx 30000 for the form and some additional has to be also given for admission in college which is deducted further in the fees. Details of reservation benefits: You have to submit your reservation certificate in the counselling. You have to also submit the original and photocopy of the document when physically reporting. Improvement: The website ui can be made easier and some students came far from the college location so something can be done for them.
