Every department has a responsibility to teach certain courses, for a general education requirement, for a college requirement, or for a requirement for a major or minor in the department. The chair of the department will need to ensure that those courses are taught on the agreed-upon timetable. In most cases, faculty know what they would like to teach within this set, so it is pretty straightforward. Faculty also have their “favorite” elective courses that they would like to teach, which might meet a specialized need. The ratio between faculty and students must be 1:40 approximately then they can teach easily and students can get benefitted .
