Good just to show how big is your college apart from it Bad at its height.Every time you are scared about attendance,doesn't care about how knowledge can be improved if any teacher tries to they don't let them to.Being an automobile engineer you dream to participate in events like SABA and BAJA but the whole money problem the student should manage college isn't giving you a single penny and at last they want all the fame.

Wrote IIT JEE but unfortunately landed upto oriental.Interview...Never, took some money and you are IN.Had a interest in vehicle design and mechanics so only option in my state was oriental.

I chose Automobile engineering course is quite awesome.But in my college you will regret your decision.No focus on practical learning or it starts when you are about to pass out.Research initiatives in my college is as rare as Dinosaurs.

Internship is just a word of Dictionary in our college.You get the time to intern when you are free from assignments and sessionals.

Placement scenario,it decides the life of a student and at that time students are forced to submit their assignments and fines rather you aren't allowed to sit in the placements.In about 500 students 250 are placed means 50% but only 5 to 6% are placed in a quality company comprising package about 4 to 5 lacs the rest are just bundled up and courierd to companies like TCS with same package as if the company have the target to complete the quota of that year.Major companies is TCS TCS and TCS all the 4 years you are made to dream only about getting placed into TCS,branch doesn't matters.I am not always on the negative side some good companies like cognizant, Mahindra ,Tata motors also visit but only 1% students are selected. Average package every years lie between 2.5-3lav per annum

Technical events is just once when a college fest is organized,and even then the students have to spend their money for events college just wants free fame.Average footfall is about 800 to 1000 students even when the college itself comprises of about 1500 students,even own college students doesn't take interest in them.

It isn't affordable for a lower middle class.Fees is OK when you promise a good placement without it the student is in a heavy debt.My college takes approx 1lac per year including expenses of bus facility,but if you will to go to college by your own source or having your home at walking distance but it is compulsory to pay the bus fees,just greedy things.Still we manage to pay the fees,but then they'll show their next card they'll force you to pay unnecessary money on things like marathon and functions of no use,giving you some toffees like attendance and good sessional.Means they make us to think that..Really are they so CHEAP..

This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen.Being a middle class boy we have the right and need to avail the scholarship,but your money which is of yours necessity the scholarship cell is totally uncooperative they make you a street dog taking your file here and there missing your important lectures and take irrelevant money which isn't compulsory.

No Nothing.If you get time from scribbling your assignment books you'll look for some extracurriculars,but unfortunately you don't get any.

I am not residing in the college Hostel.Oh..how lucky I am.some of my friends resided in college hostel but just for a year.They paid about 56K per annum with a nasty mess food you'll prefer eating out rather than gulping that.Rooms are small and shared by about 4 students in a room.You aren't let to enjoy your college life they strictly want you to be in room at 9 in night.If you are just a minute late a fine of about 500rupees is fined and yearly you are about 3000 to 4000rupees paying as fine.

Exams are frequent just on academic calendar.our college just expects us to be present in college,they don't care about how serious is the student in terms of exams.Now coming on Labs they are just to show when at times of admission parents come to lookout the college.Chill culture is only a dream which never can come true.They'll always freighten you in the names of attendance,sessional, fine and what not.

Some faculties are quite good having some good knowledge. But maximum of them doesn't have that deep knowledge in that course which a college professor should have.Some of them are really really great they don't even know how to manage students,having no BEd or MEd qualification some teachers just passout and start teaching ,and so they are recruited.
