Likes

The auditorium is outstanding. It feels like you are seating in a 5 star movie theatre.
The cafeteria is also very good. Lumpsum amount of space to accommodate a large number of people.

Dislikes

The food in the cafeteria is not up to the mark but it is not very bad also.
There is attendance problem in this college. Your attendance must be up to the mark to sit in the exams.

The faculty is outstanding... just outstanding. Highly qualified professors will give their lectures and in any preferred language (specifically Hindi, English, Bengali) I prefered this college for its placement opportunities.

There is also internship opportunities available in The Heritage College. Various companies offers internship to the college students. There are paid internships also available in this college. You can apply for internship from the day you joined college only.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is also better in this college than other colleges. Sudents become eligible to sit in the placement cell in their 3rd year of their course. Various companies like Loreal, TCS, etc vists this college during placements. Highest package I have seen in this college is 6.5 LPA on the basis of this course. The average package is expected to be 4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course structure is slightly on a costlier side considering the govt. Colleges There is an admission fees of Rs. 50000 And per semester fee is 31500. But the money you spend in this college is worth it.

Campus Life

Nearly all kinds of clubs are their in this college. The campus is outstanding. Maintained and neat. Their are 3 big fields in this campus. Campus consists of gym, swimming pool, lawn tennins arena, archery arena, basketball arena, football field , cricket field, indoor arena, more than one auditorium, library, cafeteria etc.

Admission

There is no such improvements needed in the admission process. For the application form you may go to the official website of the Heritage College or in the college itself. The admission charge is nearly 50,000. The semester fee is 31,500.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

THC sem 6 2025 review

i got a confirmed in all colleges of kolkata like bethune, loreto, brabourne, etc. i didnt get into xaviers. Xaviers was my first choice but since i didnt get into it i was happy with THC or bethune. my admission for bethune came a while later, when i was already comfortable with heritage. plus the campus vibes, faculty and friends played an important role into choosing this collge. i didnt get into xaviers because i didnt have score high enough to secure the index marks. the admission process of my college is very easy, they accept 10+2 level examinations and you are eligible to fill up the form if you have secured 60%, but the admission desk is very very polite and helpful. overall the entire experience was incredibly smooth....Read More
