Overall the college was fine and a satisfactory one. It gave huge opportunities to explore ourselves and our true inner selves .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose was Bachelor of engineering ( BE) ,and I am pretty much confident about my decision and will always be in future. In my course a huge importance is given to practical learning ,because it is what engineers are up to .They design things built things all by the practical knowledge along with the theory . As far as I know , no research initiatives are taken by our college,but maybe taken in the coming years.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provide internship program with some major companies such as Wipro ,etc . The experience was quite nice .The average time spent was about 3 to 4 months.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is slightly more then average. About 75 to 80 percent students got placed here .The major companies visiting the campus are Infosys ,TCS, Wipro, tech Mahindra etc. The average package is about 3.5 to 4 lacks.
College Events
There are various events taking place such as mech-tech fest ,Aayam cultural fest ,sports events .They longed for about 3 to 4 days. The events were very organized by our seniors in a very systematic way and authority also contributed in all events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was an easily affordable one for me .The total fees was Rs 24,690 for one semester for the general cateogary students ,and for those of school and St cateogary have got far more scholarship s and all.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes they do provide .No as I was in general so I didn't avail any . Yes it also helps in getting loan . As the college has a branch of iob bank so students can get loan from that bank easily
Campus Life
The college is good at extra curricular and students get many opportunities to explore their talent .The faculties were supportive too.
Hostel Facilities
No I do not stay in the hostel but I can tell you that the hostel is really a mess .It is the worst hostel in every means .The conditions of the rooms, food facility, fans ,cupboards, etc everything is in the state of ruin .No single rooms neither double,in one ruin actually four students used to live .I am living in a paying guest and paying 1500 Rs as the room rent .
Alumni/Alumna
It was an awesome experience. They told us many ways of getting a nice job and were very helpful . Yes they contribute in the improvement of placement cell.
Exam Structure
No not that much frequent ,but ya they are sudden and taken on a short notice most often. Mostly I used to feel tired at the end of the day.
Faculty
Most of the faculties of UEC are highly educated having vast knowledge of their respective subjects. They are very interactive towards students ,and are always open to students for helping them with a positive attitude.
