I pursue btech in mechanical engineering at NIT Surat because in this course there are so many opportunities and decent placements, and along with this, I can opt for mechanical engineering as an optional subject in UPSC. The success rate of mechanical engineering is also very good, and this subject also helps in so many government examinations, and along with that, you can research as a scientist in various branches. And in my college, there is best professor who teach in an excellent way and conducts test after teaching every topic Also, there is a lab class where we do practicals on topics which are discussed in the class . So doing all this, you can score best in your examination and semester exam, which is conducted in every six months, and there is also a mid semester exam, which is conducted in middle of the semester . For getting good score, you should study and revise all topics, along with you should never miss class the after you can opt a better CGPA and the best placement.

There are so many students who got internships at so many companies in NIT Surat. Companies visited in NIT Surat's are John Dere, Mahindra, and Tata Nvidia, but the maximum of students are placed in coding jobs that students can do through the internet after their first year.

The placement record of NIT Surat is also very good and student after 4th year individual for placement but student can also earn money through internship after 1st year. And their so many company visited in our NIT student such as John Deere, Nvidia, Tata Mahindra, Reliance, etc. And they give very good placement to students; the average placement of NIT Surat is approx 7 to 8 lakh per annum and percentage of student placed is approx 80 to 85 percent. The highest placement of NIT Surat is approx 51 lakh in in 2023 and it is of an electronics and communication engineering student and average placement of our NIT student is 7 to 8 lakh per annum. My plan after getting degree in b.tech in Mechanical engineering is to give UPSC examination and become a government officer.

The fee structure is very nominal, and the tuition fee is approximately 62500 per semester, the mess fee is approximately 20000 per semester, and the hostel fee is 37,000 for one year. And they also give fee remission in the tuition fee according to your father's income .if your father's income is between 1-5 lakh then they will give 2/3 fee remission in your tuition fee, and if your father's income is below 1 lakh then they will give total fee remission in your tuition fee, but if your father's income is greater than 5 lakh then you have to pay total amount of your college fee. Along with that you can opt scholarship from government and private companies, and after all this if you are still not able to pay fee then you can also take a loan from any bank and for your easeful there is a bank in my college who provide loan in very short time, Along with that you can earn money by doing internships in many companies in your college, so that we can say any students from any background, can study in colleges.

There is so many annual fest conducted in the college ,such as lit fest ,sparsh, mmnct,kashish, fressher party etc... and along with that there is so many religious fest is conducted in our college .for enjoying the college, but along with that there is a library where so many books are avaible and you can also bring any book to your room for study and there is very peaceful place for self study and along with that there are so many sports facilities are provided by college for students, such as there is a ground for playing cricket badminton , volleyball, table tanish, etc...and there is also so many tournaments conducted at college levels. And along with that there is so many clubs suca as dristy , ncc for students

The hostel facility of NIT Surat is very good college provide very good and neat and clean room for student and there is also miss in the college where a student goes to eat breakfast lunch and dinner the room provided by the college is very neat and clean and there is a table and chair and a bit for every student and there is also Godrej food every student to put there there clothes books and stationery products and their each also a fan in each room and each room having a proper lightening and windows for ventilation. The quality of mess is also very good they provide three time food in a day breakfast dinner and lunch and the quality of foods are also good and they provide different food in different days and you can eat as much food as you want. Registration process of hostel is also very easy and affordable. The mess fee is 20000 for 6 month. And also there is a water filter which provide filtered water for all student

For admission to NIT you have to appear in the JEE mains examination, For this, you have to score a minimum of 75% in the board exam, and then after you have to score a good rank in the jee main exams. After that there is a counseling process where you have to choose your college with a specific branch according to your rank and your category reservation, but to get any category reservation you must have a category certificate according to date mentioned on the website of jee main, along with you also have to upload all document along with your tuition fee and registration fee mentioned on website, then after allotment of your seat in your college you have to go in your college with you all original documents and they will verify it after that you also have to pay remaining fee of your college, and there is tuition fee remission according to your father's income, also have to submit some documents such as 10th onwards marksheet, adhar card, allotment letter etc and after verification, you can study in college
