Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I wanted to pursue some thing commerce in future...There are many teachers..All the teachers who teaches in the college has done the master degree.. Their teaching style is good and can be easily be understood..In every 6 months there is a semester exams

Class Size: 1100Course Fees: INR 5490 per year

Internships Opportunities

The Umes Chandra college do not offer too much internship.But if it offers then it will be good one..The company that come for internship are TCS and many companies..and If anyone get struck in some thing then you consult to your senior

Placement Experience

The campus placement is good..the maximum campus placement is 15000 pm. There are many companies who visited the college who visited the college for recruitment..the last semester students can get opportunity for campus selection..

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college one year fees is 5500 approx and the teachers are very good..There are many government scholarship that are offered by the college such as SVCM and many more scholarship..And there is job placement also .

Campus Life

The life at campus is good..The students are very friendly and no one is rude ..Every year the college conducts batch party and many more party..the seniors are also very goods .. The library is also good ..the books are ver knowledgeable..There are too much sports tournaments that took place..

Admission

We have to fill the form from the college official website.One who has secured 70% in 12th can get admission..OBC , SC ,ST can get admission in 60% also ..The college also provide the placement opportunities..

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I was selected to most of the universities except one that is Goenka as it was having a higher eligibility criteria which I couldn't able to meet.
