SSC and Yatanites.

I chose this course because it was a good option to go with CA/CS/CMA. The teachers do pay attention to individuals and if need be, students can always reach out to teachers. There are around 3-5 teachers per subject and that helps in completing the syllabus smoothly. The Internals Exams are held timely and the teaching faculties always discuss important topics to be covered and the study materials to refer to.

The fees is a bit high and I saw around 10% overall hike in fees over the course of 3yrs. I am not aware of financial scholarships but students can avail government scholarships if applicable. The campus placements are good and placement rates are high, based ln the students overall achivement and skills.

The annual fest of the college is SRIJAN, BUT over the past 3 yrs we didn't have any such fests. There weren't any inter/intra college fests other than Podium (only for BBA). We do have E-cell club events, Shree (a small event where students can setup their business stalls). The library generally doesn't have the books recommended by CU for Bcom Hons. We have to go through different books for relevant study material. The classrooms have good seating arrangements and their is ample amount of sunlight and lightings in each room. All the classrooms are air-conditioned properly. The IT rooms need a system upgrade. The sports team of our college is good but again, due to lack of campus, the school campus is available only after 3p.m. We did have an Annual Sports meet. There is a Dance Society, Debate Society, Entrepreneurship Cell, Theatre Club and a Bengali Creative Society, all run and managed by the students and they are really one of the most talented groups.

The admission process was smooth. The application form can be found on the college website. The college can do a better work with administration but otherwise it's great. The teachers of Bcom are really helpful and they know their subjects well. The college is always neat and clean BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A CAMPUS.
