Course Curriculum Overview
Well term exams are easy and you can easily clear them with the basic knowledge atleast for the bcom . I did want to pursue a career in finance and investment, hence i choose bcom hons Teachings are quite good for whoever pays attention to the classes and attends them regularly , the standard of teaching is above than average.
Internships Opportunities
I was offered by Amazon as a shipping manager for 6 months and i was paid 25,000 monthly , it was a tough work but it gave me alot of experience and ideas. Many of my seniors have worked out one a project based on their own idea which was funded by some investing companies visiting this college so it is also appropriate if you want to pursue your own startup with less pillars supporting you
Placement Experience
From sem 3 (for bcom) internships begins and the placement are given after sem 6 . Wipro , amazon , flipkart , tata are some famous companies which offers them Avg. Package is around2- 3 lakhs per annum and highest is probably 18lakhs per annum or more More than 70% students are offered placements each year at the end of their courses but most of them just rejects ut as they are more interested in their own start ups ,hence there are plenty of job opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
They do take quite a considerable amount of money for their courses and degree but it is very negligible when compared to the college life they provide , also they provide with internships , job experiences and part time job offers throughout the year . They also provide placements to the students
Campus Life
Collage life is just excellent, the social standards are very proper and there are libraries with tons of books . A year is filled with alot of fests and events , probably thebest Collage in kolkata if you're interested in events and programs. It also provides a great scope in the field of sporting.
Admission
There are alot of sections so basically everyone who fills in the application form gets qualified to be admitted to this college the only exception is that you must not fail into any of the main subjects related to your course , application forms come out online as well as offline.
