Remarks
Overall college life is awesome but placement scenario is poor. So if you have a stable background, this is good for you. Otherwise, try to get into PEC or some other better college. Canteen and all provide good and healthy food at cheap rates. One or another activities keep on taking place here so its overall fun.
Entrance Preview
I wrote JEE mains for entrance in this college. I cleared the cut off of this course of the college. There was no interview. I had interest in electronics engineering which inspired me to join the course.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing btech in electronics and want to do masters in it.i choosed this course because i wanted to do research in electronics. I like to do practical work more than theoretical work. They are very interesting . There are many research initiatives taken by our institute.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internship in Chandigarh mostly to startups. 90% of times it is without any pay. Average stipend is Rs 3000 per month for CS students. Rest all suffer with 0 or very low stipend.
Placement Experience
Placement is not very good. There are no core companies. The only major company is Infosys which provides job to mass on same package of around Rs 4lacs. Its very low and still many are left unplaced.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is affordable. 40k for Sem 1; 40,197 for sem 2. Then Rs 35k per semester thereafter. Examination fees is extra and it is Rs 2500 per semester.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified and have a lot of experience. But they teach with high pace and thus it gets difficult to understand each concept with ease.
