Educative, productive and memorable experience.

Everything about this college is great and the people are chill. Except for fines they collect, everything about the college is great. I feel proud to have passed out of the college. Now I feel nostalgic about that period of my life

I landed up here through K-CET (Karnataka-CET). KCET is a common entrance test in Karnataka and seats in this college were offered through this test. I chose ECE in engineering, hoping that I'll be exposed to both programming and electronics and related hardware.

The course was awesome. I got exposure to many technologies being used in the practice. There was much to learn theoretically through text books and practical learning was not that great here. During the final year when we have to submit a project as part of our curriculum, the support we got was great which helped us complete the project ourselves in the college. Unlike other teams who bought the project. The college supported both. There is not much research related initiatives taken by the college.

There were no internships during my stay there. I don't have much idea about this now. The college has made a lot of improvement and I'm sure they might have come up with good stuff for internships.

The placements for my Batch was not good at all. There were a few companies like HCl and tech Mahindra. But the call letters were given very late.

There are a lot of events organised there by students. The management is very friendly and helpful in this aspect. Technical events are organised every year.

Since I got a free seat from KCET entrance exam, my fee for the course was affordable. If you go for management seat the fee is huge. My fee was 28000/year. This is for general quota. For OBC, the fee was 18000/month. Plus college maintenance fee which they call with different names was around 10000 above the course fee. Management seats were about 1.5 - 2 Lacs based on the course.

There is a scholarship provided by the government for merit students. The college does not sponsor a scholarship of its own.

The management system s supportive of Extra curricular activities. There are many sports and events organised every year

The hostels are good. I haven't stayed in there. But I had been there multiple times to meet my friends. They are tidy and there is enough space to live and to keep our belongings.the food they serve there is good.

My alumni was great. The college lets us stay free. There are no orthodox restrictions here. The alumni's contribution to the development of the college is huge.

There were 2 labs per week. There is not much stress on marks or exams. The college is chill as long as you are regular to the college and score passing marks. Otherwise these guys fine you a lot. they fine for short of attendance, short of internal passing marks, and what not. These guys are fine collectors. But there is limit though, they don't fine unnecessarily. I haven't paid a penny for fines. They cash your irregularities and negligence. If you are watchful about your behavior and curriculum, you are safe.

The faculty is well qualified and experienced. There are some faculty who are real serious about us learning the subject than the mugging up for marks. Some helped us to learn new concepts by encouraging to experiment. Few taught us how to get marks from VTU, Karnataka. The standards of teaching is good.
