Remarks
There are no bad remarks about my college. I am still pursuing my 1st year and I am in store for a lots of experience. The campus is kept clean, good parking facilities, good canteens and library in our place.
Entrance Preview
I have cleared GET (Gitam Entrance Test) to get an admission in this college. I wanted to pursue an MBA after my graduation but I wished to stay at Visakhapatnam so this college was the best in town. There was no interview process, I had to submit only my Btech degree certificate. I was interested in finance management and hence I took up FINTECH (financial technologies) in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was thought very well so far. There is no focus in practical learning so far in my 1st year . There are no research initiatives taken by our college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provided internship for other MBA students. It was a good experience learning with other students. We received 6000 as stipend.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is quite good, we had around 90% placement for our seniors. Major companies that visited our campus were Colgate, United Breweries, Cocacola, Wipro,TCS,etc.The average package was 6 L per annum.
College Events
We had technical fest once in every three months hosted by Engineering colleges within our campus. It was a two day event and was hosted at a large scale. we had around 6000 people at the venue. The college sponsored funds and students took responsibility in this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was not all affordable. We had to pay 15 lakhs per year as the tuition fees at a single payment or 4 lakhs per each semester with a total of 4 semesters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, our college provided scholarship to merit students in admission (with Btech aggregate above 85 percentage) and for the students who performed well in the 1st year of MBA. I did not avail any of the scholarship. Yes, the college helped in getting loans from banks with minimal interest.
Campus Life
We had sports, clubs and events every weekend to provide an opportunity for every student to explore his/her inner ability. We had good facilities promoting the same.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I am staying in the college hostel. They were all sharing rooms . They didnt have any PGs. We paid 15000 per month which we had to pay separately. Food was decent and tasty and no problems with it.
Alumni/Alumna
I didn't have any interaction with any of the Alumni. However, I heard that Alumni visit our college in the month of February to share their details about their work and culture.
Exam Structure
Yes, we had many exams and tests where we were made to withstand intense pressure . It is a very hectic
Faculty
Faculty were qualified teachers with 8 to 10 years experience in this industry. A few teachers were world famous for their articles and journals. They were very interactive where we had two way talking in the class and just not where teacher is teaching. We had videos, stage shows, projectors and bill boards to explain the concepts.
