Likes

Faculty cooperative. And understanding too much
Campusing is good. Fresh nature. Maintaining of garden
Food is available for the students nd the staff outside the college and in the canteen also

Dislikes

Classroom facilities should be improved with proper desks nd benches
Labs should be well maintained nd cleaned
No such laboratory things are present in the lab

All the faculties have completed there PhD and they are assistant professor Every semester we have a mid semester. Quality of the questions is quite good for the students to help them promote to the 2nd Sem

Fee structure is quite comfortable for the family who are slightly above the poverty line Swami vivekananda scholarship. Pm scholarship No idea abt the job on campus. Swami vivekana scholarship can be applied by the wb boards students . And pm scholarship by the army and the ex army

Annual fest should be included. No such fest is been performed. Books nd journals are available for the students Classroom have proper lights nd fans and with smart technology Basketball court is available Badminton is also played No such groups

Admission

Should get atleast 70 percentage and above Application form will be found in the website of the college No college is well organized. Lift has been available for the students. Canteen Food also available in quite good quality

Placement Experience:

In my University they provide us to seat for the interview of those recruiting companies after 3rd semester online so this is a great opportunity for us to have an experience event because if we read for 4 year course after 1 and half year only we are getting chance to say for the interview and the companies here comes for recruitment are very renowned companies companies like Flipkart Amazon Myntra and many others TCS consultancy they always to visit for recrating so I will suggest that the placement provide by the university is good and 75 to 80% of student getting successfully placed from the university into good companies and with an average salary of 6 lpa to 9lpa

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

Insights of SNU

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
