Likes
- Sports facility in this college is good, there are many grounds and court here for every sport like cricket, football, volleyball, etc.
- There are many clubs here for every work and they organize many workshops which are useful for students for getting placement.
- Faculties of this college are good and supportive. their teaching skills are good and they qualified from good colleges.
Dislikes
- University timing is not good, it is 10AM to 6PM which is very high, because of this students didn't have time for study in hostel or home.
- Placement percentage of college is not good, approx 60-70% get placed in companies which i think is not good according to fees
- College doesn't give internship opportunity for every student, they provide internship but for few students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because i want to become an software engineer and i want to learn and develop new skills in computer science field. There are 75-80 students in every class and many different sections. Faculties of this college are also good and help students in their projects and other works. Faculties are qualified from good colleges. Some teachers are qualified from colleged like IITs and IIMs. their teaching method is good. Exams are having in two parts in a semester which are mid term and end term. the level of exams are good for students who study properly.
Internships Opportunities
This college provide internship opportunity to students, but not for every student. Student have to get their internship according to their knowledge and college did less help in this. My seniors told that few students get internship opportunity from their batch. and I also don't get internship yet. So i think internships opportunity are not good here.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester of my course which is 4th year. The companies visited here for placements are like adani group, microsoft, etc. Highest package of this college is 55 LPA and average package is 6.30LPA which i think is good but every student cannot get placed from this university. Approx 70 percent student get placed this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of my course (b.tech) is 1.96lakh per year which i think is high because everyone can't afford it and faculty and management is not good according to fees. But they provide scholarship to students which is helpful to students who want to study.
Campus Life
Life in campus is good. This college conducted many fest and events and also workshops which is useful for students. There is a library from where we can get many books and issue the books for study. There are many clubs in the college for different sports and there are many grounds for sports like football ground, cricket ground, volleyball court, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is bot as good, they only provide a lan wire by which we can use internet. The speed of internet is not as good. Meal quality in mess is average but we can not say that good. Registration process for hostel is we can find application form on the official website of gla university and we can get application form offline from the university. But i think hostel fee is high which is 108000 and the facilities are not good.
Admission
The eligibility of my course is 60% in 12th with physics, chemistry and maths. we can find application form of admission on official website of gla university. we have to pass the entrance exam of gla for admission in the course.
