IIT-KANPUR REVIEW

It was best Course and College Combination that I was able to achieve by dint of My AIR in JEE ADVANCE. In my knowledge the faculty student ration is about 1:70 or something. All Faculties are very well versed In their field of profession, and I'd rate them as being midway of medium and high. All examinations were conducted on time as apprised in the First Course Handouts at the start of the Semester.

Google, Microsoft, Amazon and all the FMAANG companies come here, also many other good companies like like accenture, atlassian come here for placements and internship. If one wants they can also go for internships through the off-campus route.

The Placements here are up to the mark with average salary around 30-35 lakhs and increasing and branchwise it is even better. This year out of 1128/928 students got placed which is less than last year but still according to me, it happening in view of the current recession period going on in America.

Fees is a bit high, That I have to say. This much of amount in my opinion must not be taken by a renowned Institute in just one year's time span. But yeah they also provide a bunch of scholarship options which the students can achieve to allay their financial burden.

There are 3 major Fests which IIT KANPUR is known for. First one the Techfest of IIT kanpur, TECHKRITI, in which various competing IITS come to showcase their in various technical competitions, all The Students gather together to celebrate it, and party hard. Second is the Cultural FEST ANTARAGNI, the main fest of IIT KANPUR, in which the whole of IIT is lit with Lights, making it look so exquisite one cannot imagine, there are various which allocated for food stalls, gaming stalls, shopping stalls, and Many of the esteemed and famous singers and DJ's are invited. It is one of a kind experience during this time.

The HOSTEL facility in my opinion could have been made better, but still it is not that bad, one can manage easily. The Mess is just merely eatable not what I'd imagine it to be, this the area where it needs a whole lot of amelioration. Registration process is quick and sturdy. Does not consume much of our time and is easily doable.

First we have to Clear Jee main with a Good score to be able to sit For Jee Advance, And in Advance around the top 16000 people get seats in various IIT's. Application form is available on the jee advance website which ja made available by the IIT which is conducting exam that year. After giving the exam If one has scored Such that he eligible for a seat they have to fill the JOSAA form by dint of which the further process for choosing your IIT and course continues. All relevant details are given by them.
