- Campus life is pretty balanced , you will have fun throughout semester but at the time of end-sem exam it will be pretty intense situations. Otherwise you will love to hangout with your friends in campus, going to cafe ,hanging out at garden it's fun
Dislikes
- The only this i don't like much is small campus area but if we look this in a positive way it is also good in some cases , you don't need to walk through your classes for long everything is nearer to you , so it is nice sometimes and sometimes not .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is one of the best competing with IITs and NITs. Almost all the faculty are phD from IIT and prestigious institute. A normal semester last around 4-5 months and the level for exam are comparing to IITs .
Internships Opportunities
After the end of second year you need to find internship on your own and after that as third year commence that is your 5th semester the process of on campus intership starts and mainly companies come for seeking Tech. role and few companies come for core related domains mainly for Electrical and Mechanical . And student of any stream can sit for the internship process for Tech role there is a GPA criterion and few comapnies only allow CS , IT ,EC students to sit for software role but almots all good companies allow all the students from any branch to sit on Online Test. Companies like GOLDMAN SACHS , DEUTSCHE BANK , BRIDGESTONE , etc , comes for on campus intership and selecte student to do internship after the end of third year that is 6th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The for all the B.Tech courses are almost same around 46k per sem except IT and Biomedical Engineering. The student can avail the benefit of various scholarship by reviewing portal and can apply for that in which the one is eligibal. The campus also provides Internship mainly for software profile and few in core Electrical and Mechanical. The college also have on campus placement process which is done under supervision of college's official Training & Placement Cell. On campus companies are really good , it includes AMAZON , GOLDMAN SACHS , etc....
Campus Life
The campus in 1st year basically is pretty amazing but due to small campus area you will not get feel of big area , this is also because the college was Estb. in 1952 and located at very accessible hence area can't be increase but overall it is very nice experience. SGSITS has it annual fest knows as AAYAM and apart from that there are various clubs which organise there event through out the year. College have some of clubs like Kshitij for music and dance genre , E-cell for entrepreneurship , GSPH for cinematography and photography as well as production , etc. Talking about college infrastructure the old building which are 72 year old are pretty old but now college also have building know as ATC and recently build LT which have all modern facilities and have theater classroom which might fascinates student , seen in movies.
Admission
Eligibility to take adimission in SGSITS indore is through jJEE Mains scorecard. After that you need to register on MP DTE portal and apply for counselling for your desired course you want to take admission in. After that you will get results of counselling by which you can see that you are alotted the seat you put in your list or not.
