Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I have interest in civil engineering and the faculty student ratio is 1: 6. The faculties are well qualified from renowned universities and the teaching method is excellent. Mid term exams are between the semesters and difficulty level is medium.
Internships Opportunities
Summer Undergraduate Research Exposure (SURE): This is 8-week program that allows undergraduate students to participate in research projects. Stipends are usually not provided. As a result students get real world experience and develop skills throughout the internship.
Placement Experience
Mostly students get placement opportunities from 7th semester but some students also get pre placement offers in their 3rd year. In the campus almost 300 companies come to campus. The highest package offered was 65 LPA and average package is 20 LPA. There are opportunities for all students from different branches. Around 80 percent students get placed. My plan is to get a good job after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite good with reference to the facilities they provide. There are many scholarships for students on the basis of caste and income. They provide financial support to people with less income. 66 percent scholarship on tution fees for income less than 5 LPA and 100 percent scholarship on income less than 1 LPA.
Campus Life
The campus life in the college is excellent. The name of tech and cultural fest is elan n vision and it is conducted in the month of February. There are sufficient books for students in library. They gave enormous opportunities and encourage students for sports and extra curricular activities. Gymkhana society is the head of college ran by students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are quite good with table, chair, bed, almirah and radiant cooling in the rooms. The quality of food is really good and healthy and the menu includes all varieties of food. Once you get the college it's very easy to get hostels as it is compulsory for students to stay in hostels for overall development.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for the college is passing 12th exam with minimum of 75 percentage. You can find the application form from the official JEE ADVANCE website and application fees is 2800. There are several reservations on the basis of caste and income.
