- Computer Labs are good, ventilated but are small. But have 3 4labs in college.
- Some faculty members are great like library members and friendly teachers.
- No noise around the college so lectures go smoothly without any disruption.
Dislikes
- Teachers are not that great at teaching and not much informative.
- Poor and unclean sanitation and washroom facilities for girls.
- Poor administration (like they sometime inform about the lecture cancelled just half hour before the lecture)
Course Curriculum Overview
Frankly, just for sake of the college name. But after attending entire 1semester now I realize that it was a biggest mistake to just consider these things only. Faculty is good but I feel as per the fees taken from college there should be some improvement in every regarding these self financing master's courses. Students for these courses are small in ratios i.e about 14-15max students for self financing courses. All teachers are visiting faculty, causing many problems regarding lecture timings,regularity,etc . All the faculty members are well experienced and qualified but feels like not up to mark in terms of teaching. Sem1 was conducted in Nov23 where no holiday for any subject was given also exams were taken on very short notice. Hardly got 1week to study for exams due to assignments and viva's. Papers are hard to finish in 2hrs time but thankfully everyone was able to pass in exam in my class atleast.
Fees and Financial Aid
The most unjustied and worst part of course is its fees structure. Does'nt feel like it is worth the huge amount paid for course. In last semester1 only 5lecture a week were conducted and now in sem2 it has now come to only 4days a week that too only for a single lecture everyday for just 2hrs. Every saturday there was a case study analysis lecture where industry experts would make a visit still till now no one was called for the same. I'm still in Sem2 so not aware about job assistance yet. No scholarship for self financing courses like Business analytics, behavioural finance and international business students.
Campus Life
College is mostly engaged in such fests and events but as I'm new to college and they do not inform masters students about it so did not attend any of them yet. Hope to attend in future. College has a great library as well as online library very most of the books and journals are available. College computer labs are great. Also classrooms are pretty huge and well facilitated with projecter screens , boards, etc. Not aware about sports and other activities.
Admission
Any B.com or other discipline graduate can apply for this course. Everything about admission details is available on the college website. There are some reservation benefits for SC/ST/EWC students(not completly aware about it as I took admission in open category). No such problem in overall admission process. Just had to visit college once or twice for submitting hardcopies else everything is done online.
