- I disliked about the timings of canteen it is open only till 1am
- I disliked that the campus of iith is far from the main city around 40km which makes it hectic to go and come
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosed civil engineering because of my intrest in constructions and want to work in this field.The faculty:student ratio is quite good here which is 1:15.The faculty here is amazing and the way they teaches develops my intrests in studies and they are highly qualified individuals.term exams are at the same time which are announced and they are not delayed and if you study it is very easy for you to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internships in our campus such as undergraduate summer internship program this program offers 8 12 weeks research internship to undergraduate students stipend in 2023 was 12400 per month and also it takes semester internship which for 5 to 6 months and also research internship as well
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement in later semester of there academic program from the 6th semester usually. The highest salary of a during the placement was 65 lakhs per annum and the average salary was INR 20 lakh per annum a total of 781 students registered for placement out of which 666 were placed 141 companies participated in the placement drive and 586 students received offer including 46 international office the number of companies that visited the college increased by 2% as compared to the last year. My plans after getting a degree is to go in business field to do construction business
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure of IIT Hyderabad is affordable for every student because it has financial assistance and as well as scholarships for different category of students so they can afford to study at IIT Hyderabad. Cost to study is quite good because if you are from general category it will cost to around 3 lakhs per year, different fees for different categories as well
Campus Life
In IIT Hyderabad Elan and vision is annual fest and tech fest respectively and it usually takes place in the month of February. And also it is very popular among the students.The libraries quite accessible and the books are in good condition you have to take the books from them and return them after a certain time and if you are late you will get a penalty.Sports infrastructure in IIT Hyderabad is good we have a new sports complex in which we can play all sports at anytime. Many clubs and co curricular activities are organised by the students for example we have ecell which is a entrepreneurship club run by student and it is non profit organisation
Hostel Facilities
We have all the facilities required in the room for example fan, cupboard, table, bed,etc. The menu of the mess is quite versatile we have different menus on different days which makes it interesting to eat. There is very simple procedure for registration in hostel you have to just visit hostel office and provide the necessary information to them and they will provide to the hostel within no time
Admission
The Admission is done after jee advance.once you get the desired rank; you have to enter jossa counseeling and after choosing iith as your priority after the completion of the last round in the jossa you will get a mail from iith regarding the next procedure;basically they will invite you to their platform which is erp and you will have to complete remaning formalities there.I think the only improvement is that it is little bit delayed.
