i think academics at IIT KANPUR ias very tough . i am currently persuing btech in civil engineering from iit kanpur. i choose civil engineering at iit kanpur because this was the only coarse i am getting on that time

placements at my college is good . from 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements many companies visited this year and gave a total of aprox 950 offers in thr first phase of placements overall

Fees and Financial Aid

I think fee structure at iit kanpur is good for me because i am getting a scholorship according to which i am getting a 100 % fee waiver on tution fee.this scholorship is provided only to the economically weaker students

I think campus life at my college is very good . it has its three fests , cultural fest named antragini , sports fest named udghosh , and tech fest named techchriti. there are many clubs in iit kanpur

my hostel facilities are good enough . i live in a triple sharing room in hall number 13 of iit kanpur .we have combined bathroom for 30 students . mess quality is very good they provide both veg and non veg foods

i am a small town kid who aims to study in the finest engineering college in india when i was in class 10 th . then i came to know about joint entrance exam mains and joint en trance exam advanced respectively for national institute of tecnology and indian institute of technology. After passing class 12 i went to kota for jee preparation and struggled for almost a year and finally i nailed jee advanced and got admission into one of the finest engineering colleges in india INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY KANPUR

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
