I applied for almost each Tier 1 IIT and I was getting seat in IIT Roorkee, Guwahati, kharagpur and all other IITs below in NIRF. I chose this college over other colleges because of its new campus and infrastructure and available of outstanding sports facilities. I applied for admission to IITGN fo IITGN for M.Sc. in mathematics. I gave the IIT JAM exam, and after clearing it, i had to make a list of the colleges(IITs) where i wanted to study. In the JAM exam, i got an AIR of 527. With this rank, i coukld not get into top older IITs. At IITGN, there are visiting faculty members who are professor at IIt Bombay and foreign universities. Most of the professor here have done their PhDs from foreign colleges, and they have good research career.
