The college teaching staff ,Seniors and all are good,well educated and experienced.
All the toilets and classroom are cleaned and maintained.
the college also provides placement ,Which is nice part.

Dislikes

the structure of saltlake campus of buuilding are not quite good.

faculty is highly qualified and kind, and the course curriculum is relevant and updated and makes student industry- reads. and the atmosphere is also good. The faculty-to-student ratio at this college is 1:9.every year 1500 students are admitted to this college. terms exams are always timely and held two times in a year and level of difficulty was quite medium.

semester eligible for campus placement - who passed or completed these courses. companies visited - tcs,byjus,m-pokket and many more average package - 2 lpa percentage of student getting placements - 70% my plans - completed these course and i pursue cost accountant course from ICMai.

fees structure - for taking a 4-year honours programme the college charges a total of rs 22030 and if you taking a general course the college charges 20750 of the total rupees. Scholarships provided by the colleges are - national scholarships. student mutual aided funds, swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Campus Life

annual fest is always organised by colleges once a year .library is always full of books, every kind of book related to subjects is available in the library. various forms of sports are organised likes- running, marathon,hurdle race and many more.

Admission

Eligibility - have passed class 12 with at least 60% aggregate marks. Have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board. Have English as a mandatory subject with a passing aggregate of 50% marks. Application form- Go to the umes Chandra website (https://www.umeschandracollege.ac.in/), in the section of online admission year mention and apply for the suitable campus you want. Application Fees - The college doesn't charge any amount for filing the admission form.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
