Remarks
I'm loving my time out here. I'll miss the college as I only have a year or so to cherish it. The one thing I loved about the college is the culture, the way the seniors help the juniors, the friends you make, a wonderful experience.
Entrance Preview
During my time, I had to give the All India NEET in which I scored 479/720. I cut offs are to the roofs for government colleges and I was among the top 5000 students to get admission into one. I love the science of medicine and biology and hence I took up MBBS. I am hoping to do my PG in Neurology.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very difficult at first but if you give your time to study the matter, you can score well. This is just the stepping stone of my hopefully illustrious career as I know I'll have to study much more. There are no research initiatives taken up by then college.
Internships Opportunities
We have to do a compulsory internship of one year after the 3.5 years have completed. The internship is very tiring. The average stipend is around 6k to 8k.
Placement Experience
I am thinking of taking up a PG in Neurology. But even if I want to start up a clinic of my own I'll be able to. You can start working in the college hospital also if you'd like, the college doesn't make you placed in hospitals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I have to pay around ₹70000 for a year. Hostel fees not included ( I live in a PG though). The food the college provides costs around ₹10000 more, for lunch and dinner. The fees could be a bit less as it is a government college.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a PG. It costs me around ₹5000 a month but I live with four more friends. There are five rooms in the PG. I eat the food from the mess provided from the college.
Exam Structure
Yes, eventually if you'll have to study 4/5 hours even when on vacation, you are bound to get tired.
Faculty
The faculty has a very good knowledge of the subjects. They teach also very well. The faculty is very experienced and very interactive. The faculty is very thoughtful of the students.
