Remarks
Loving my time out here. The studies are a bit difficult at times but I'm able to cope up to it. The campus is lush green and pollution free. The food options are limited though.
Entrance Preview
I gave the MH CET exam. Admissions were based on merit and there was no interview for it. I wanted to be a doctor and hence I chose to pursue the course which would make me one!
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very interesting and difficult to learn. The studies are mostly dependent on practical knowledge and learning. There are no research initiatives taken by the college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides a compulsory internship of one year. The experience was very tiring as we had to give around 8/9 hours a day, plus we had to study. The average stipend was ₹6000.
Placement Experience
Most students apply for a post graduation as only MBBS isnt enough these days. And the college doesn't provide placements as well. 90% students go for PG only. But if you get a job in a government hospital, the average pay would be around 45k.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I have to pay around 70k annually which includes the education fee and hostel fee. It is very affordable as the course is of 4.5 years. Many lower middle class students get scholarships as well.
Faculty
The faculty is very qualified to teach. Every teacher has done their post graduation. Most of the teachers have a work experience of more than 10 years. They give us good practical knowledge on how to treat patients. The standard of teaching is excellent.
