Remarks

The college timing is fixed from 8 AM to 2.30 PM and the college is very strict towards discipline. The dress is also fixed for students. Many extracurricular programmes are held regularly for the development of students like blood donation and much more. Overall, SKIT is a very good college for BTech.

Admission is through counselling conducted by Center for Electronic Governance, Jaipur based on the score obtained in CMAT.

Course Curriculum Overview

Regular activities are held on the campus. The auditorium is very well maintained and very nicely arranged. This college is not situated in a crowded place thus the atmosphere is good and silence is always there.

Internships Opportunities

The faculty teams of each department have very experienced teachers and they are very helpful regarding studies as well as for extra knowledge. They help you in getting good marks in external and as well as for future purposes. For the 6th semester, there are many industry visits and internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are decent. Our seniors got placed in good firms. CS and IT branches got 85% placements while other branches have 70% placements. Major firms offering placements are Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Bosch and Tech Mahindra. Highest placement is around 7 lakh. The average placement is around 3-3.5 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee is around 80,000 per annum. The hostel fee is 85,000 per annum. This college is not situated in a crowded place thus the atmosphere is good and silence is always there.

The faculty of SKIT is very good. They are very helpful and always ready to give you their time if you have any problems. They are well qualified. The course curriculum is too old as it is a college that comes under the Rajasthan Technical University which is a board using courses around 10 years old.

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
