- I liked the environment at the campus, the cleanliness, security all are the best things over here.
- Studies over here mainly focus upon practical knowledge and skill enhancing. There is proper schedule for everything.
- Here a student can explore ever field he is interested in through clubs or teams weather it is sports, cultural or science and technology.
Dislikes
- Sometimes there is very pressure because of exams as there are exams and quizzes like every month.
- There are some useless courses in 1st year like physical exercise or Technical arts as they are no use for a cse student.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. I choose Mechanical engineering because I had interest in this field. 2. There are nearly 800 professors for approx 8500 students including prof and students of all departments. 3.All the professors are highly qualified and experienced. The are also excellent researchers. 4.Exam structure is also kinda smooth as a semester is of 4 months and mid term exams are in 2nd month and end sems are in 4th months and there are quizzes also in 1st and 3rd months. If you study effectively for 3 hours a day you'll get a good spi.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of companies like mechanzee, Microsoft, Google which heir students for internship programs. Companies offers roles as data analyst, consultant, programmer for the internship programs. A student becomes elegible for the internships after end of 4th semester and 6th semester.
Placement Experience
1. Placements are one of the best things about this college. Every year the placements are excellent. 2. A lot of companies visit for placements including big companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft etc. 3. This year highest package was nearly 4cr average was 22lpa and lowest was 8lpa. Almost 80% of students gets placed during placement season. 4. A student becomes elegible for placements after 7th semester. 5. My plan is to get good placement after passing out.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. As I am from st category so my tution fee is 0 and I am only paying for hostel and mess but if you are from general and Obc category then your tution fee will be 1 lakh. But if your family income is less than 1 lpa then you'll get a full fee waiver. 2. There are a lot of scholarships for students
Campus Life
1. The life at campus is too good here you create a lot of memories for lifetime. The campus is lush green and environment overe here is very beautiful and healthy. 2. There is a library called PK library where you'll find any type of book you want. Every type of book or journal is available at Library. 3. Lecture halls are very premium and fully air conditioned. There is a very big projector screen on which prof gives lectures. 4.There are 3 major fests First is 'Techriti' which is technical fest mainly focus on science and technology organised during March, Second is 'udghosh' which is sports fest organised in October starting, And third is 'ANTARAGNI' fest which is one of the biggest cultural fest of Asia organised in November starting. 4.There is a student body called 'Students Gymkhana' under which there are a lot of clubs for every interest.
Hostel Facilities
2. I am living in a double sharing room in which we got 2 beds, a table and two chairs along with Big almira fan and 4 lights. 3. Food quality is also good and very nutritious and balanced. 4. As you get admission in this college you are already registered for a hostel.
Admission
1.You have to clear 12th boards with minimum 75%And clear JEE Advance. 2.You can find application form for jee mains at official site of NTA and for jee advance application form is available at the site of respective IIT which is organising jee advance. Application fees for jee advance form is 3500 for general and Obc category and 1000 for sc/st. 3.As for reserved categories the cutoff marks are low for both jee mains and jee advance and for sc/st the tution fee at IIT is 0.
