The View of MSU

The students are more than the faculty here. Sometimes the classes are canceled for the need of supervisors for exams. All the professors are highly qualified with a doctorate in their name. The Ph.D. students who are doing their thesis are also recruited for subjects like foundation. I chose this course to learn the deep of English to work as a content writer in the future. The faculty brings so many programs where you can take part and even publish your writings. For one subject two professors are assigned. The students can join whoever's teaching they like. There are two midsems and two externals in a year. The method of giving grades is strict but if you do well you may get a CGPA of 7 to 8.

The fee hikes with the passing of semesters but it's still affordable. My first-year fee was 6000 while for the second year, it was 7143. The DSW scholarship program is also provided. It has some norms. It's for the students whose income is less than 350000 per annum and do not have any fee waiver. Last year the DSW scholarship was held from 26 January to February first week. Certain groups like ASU and YSG guide students related to exams and events held at the university. There is the MSU Pavilion where students can practice and be involved in many sports activities. In my faculty, LSQ is organized every year where students are involved In programs and remember iconic authors. Plays and soliloquies are performed adapting the plays and writings of the authors. Though there is no annual fest, there are certain small events organized throughout the year. The classrooms are huge but the start of the year seems difficult as classrooms are assigned acc. To the no. Of students. The class has lights, fans, and blackboards. One can avail of all books and journals and all amenities of the library by getting a library card for only 50 rs. It can be availed online.

For my course, (BA Hons. In English) the eligibility was according to the percentage. The students were given the specific dates for subject selection according to their percentage. For example, I got 75% so I got 2nd day out of three days. The first day was for students who got 80 and above percentage, 2nd day was for 70 and above percentage, and the third day was for 55 and above percentage. The application and fee payment process will be online, while subject selection will be offline. Students have to reach the given time and submit a copy of the mentioned documents. On the admission day, there will be several people who will guide you toward the formalities of admission. Though you will have to stand in a queue, the shade was kept above so students don't face heat. The thing that should be improved is the management and their site.
