Remarks

In whole I will say that this college is having a support for students in everything but still there is some narrow mindedness is there regarding the communication between opposite genders .

Entrance Preview

I appeared for an entrance exam conducted every year all over India.I cleared the examination successfully and got a seat in mechanical department.There was a brief counselling session for putting our choice of course.

Course Curriculum Overview

the syllabus is solely based on the curriculum prescribed by the Anna University .As it is a deemed university ,most of the content are chosen and manipulated by the management.Practical learning is supported up to maximum extent.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are mostly not provided by the college we need to get some from outside the campus.Last time I did one internships at a Dam Project that proved too informative and also they gave a stipend of 5k.

Placement Experience

The placements here are provided with all the major companies such as FORD,MAHINDRA,TATA MOTORS etc.Last the annual package average was around ₹2.5-3 lacs

College Events

technical fests are organised on frequently.last month only we had one Tool Design and Handling.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The is somewhat high I will say because for each year the tution fee sums up to an average of 1 lakhs and 75 thousand that too excluding the hostel facilities.We need to pay around 60 k extra in order to opt for hostel

Scholarships are provided based upon the marks scored in the final semester exams.Education loans are also provided by college .

Regarding extra curriculars there are opportunities given too students in the fields of sports and all the other scopes possible

The hostels are well maintained and managed .It is too disciplined and the food quality is also very superior

We are having 2 mid semesters and two practicals along with one final semester exam,Exams just really gives a hangover

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

How is life at Sathyabama?

I applied VIT , st Joseph's College, then anand institute of technology...i chose this because of campus and the students I talked to them ,they said it is too good andthe placements were also good too .only thing you need to study from the first...and then this college fees is good compared to other colleges as Sathyabama offer food and bus withing 1.5lakhs ..but others fees itself one lakhs and above...Read More
