The timing of the college is appropriate for all.
It's good for female as because it's women's college

Dislikes

It's not spacious. Ground is not persent so field work becomes a problem there
It's dusty always. I guess atleast every month cleaning should be done.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to study geography its interesting for me and it has a lot of scope in future. The faculties are really helpful and good to go with. They are highly qualified n the teaching medium is majorly bengali but English is also preferred. Digital facilities i.e computers and projectors are available with other equipments needed in this course, are present.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 5180 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is appropriate according to me. The cost of studying is a bit expensive because of practical works and also the field works (excursion) ... Swami Vivekananda scholarship aykyashree scholarship are present..

Campus Life

The annual fest happens most probably every year. Various seminars are also conducted in college. All kinds of books are present in the library and we can avail books from our department too. Sports are done in winter. Social groups are present on WhatsApp, FB, etc.

Admission

The eligibility of this course is that you've to pass-out your higher secondary with min 60% but it mainly depends on the cutoff of that particular year. The application form and all the details are available in Google the official website of the college is present there.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

Management of admission process was very easy and good. No entrance exam is required for admission in this college. Students can apply for admission on the basis of higher secondary marks. Good marks in Bengali and English subjects are required in higher secondary for admission to graduate level in Journalism. Journalism & Mass Communication course fee is 15,680 per year . For admission in this college you have to apply on the official website of the college. The admission process start and end date and all related information is provided on that website. My personal opinion is that there is no need to change the procedures for admission in this college.
