Jaypee Institute of Information technology - A good college for technical as well as co curricular

I chose Btech in electronic and communications engineering (ECE) because i have keen interest in the branch and faculty and the institute of JIIT have nice labs and great environment to thrive Teacher to student ratio is approx 2:1 Teachers are not that helpful as you only have to pass the exams for which you only have to study 1 week before and you can easily do it Exams happen thrice a semester within a month gap

Companies like Google , Adobe , GS came for internship last semester and various companies for electronics which came for roles like circuit designer, data analysts, social managers, software development engineer (SDE) and various small companies visited the company for unpaid internships too

From 7th and 8th sem students are eligible for placements Microsoft adobe and many other mncs came for placement season including various technical companies focusing on technical branches like erricson Highest package offered was around 60L and average package was around 8- 10L 100% placement is assured by college and i think it is true My plans after getting degree is becoming circuit designer in companies like mnc

This year college has launched special seats for not financially strong students Fees in JIIT is justified but hostel fees is a lot more per sem which is not justified considering the facilities they provide. Cost to study in JIIT is just like any other private college of india

If you keep yourself busy in all the hub activities you won't know when the time gets passed there are various types of hubs singing, drama, dance , and various technical hubs for technical knowledge. Lrc is very good with a large space and with a great environment Classrooms are occupied with projectors and are spacious and whole campus is ac centred . The annual fests include Impressions converge and various hub fests which happen during the course time

Hostel life in JIIT is good but not justifiable to money spent. You get ac in summers but runs during only night and hot water during winters only in the morning hours Night attendance every day is mandatory Meal in the mess is very good the taste and quality are not questionable compared to other colleges the food is quite great Registration happens during the semester registration only Sector 62 is a good locality for renting pg ot hostel outside campus

Admission process in JIIT is carried out by two methods one on basis of 10+2 and other on the basis of JEE . My admission was done on basis of 10+2 where forms were out in month of July and I applied on the official website of JIIT and after that counselling process takes place in which students on the basis of merit are given the available branch that which he/she have given in the preference list. Admission process was seemingly good no improvement required
