I have choose Bcom honours morning batch. I have taken Bcom honours because it's a course of my interest I was very interested in Commers from class 10 The faculty of the college is good teacher are friendly and give time to study and if we have any doubt they solve it Students ratios is 60:40 60 male and 40 female The teaching methods are good and friendly There are no college test there is only test every 1 semester by Calcutta university

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in this college is very less we are paying around 15000 for 1 year There are many types of scholarship for poor people like BPL Sc and St people have to pay less fee But union people charge huge amount for admission for people who got less marks

Campus Life

There are no event or fest in this college there was no freshers party nor any annual party in this area our collage is very bad cause thers is no extra curriculum activities there are just event like sports day

Admission

Yes there should be improvement in admission process because the seats in college is very limited and half of the people take admission from union They charge extra amount for admission and people who deserve the chance in college don't get admission in college because people give money and take admission

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Horrific adventure
