Exploring IIT GN

I am pursuing my BTech degree in IIT GN, IITGN has given liberty to choose course according to the student choice but aslo complete the core courses credit. The chemical faculty are well educated many of them have completed their PHD from aboard universities. The faculty memeber are too helpfull they clear one-o-one doubt, in chemical engineering batch 2022 we have total 45 student out of which 10 are female and rest of others are male. the exaam pattern depends on individual professor and aslo the toughness level of exam so i cant say anything about mostly all the exams are moderate if you studied you will pass.

For the third year student, get chance to do intern aboard according to their CPI and for Third year student there is programm called summer internship and research program where student get enrolled and get intern for research for which they get stippened.

So, our college is famous for higher studies as this college is having collaboration with universities like CAL-TECH still placements are good almost who register themselve for placement get placed every year and big companies like google amazon adobe etec offers jobs. My plan is to take a good job after my degree

If you are ST/SC student then your tution fee will be get wavied fee 100% and if you parental income is less than 2.5lac then you will get 100% tution fee wavier and in between 25.lac to 5lac you will get 2/3rd fee wavier. And campus also provide soft loan so if any student who cant be able to pay fee so he/she can take soft loan to pay it and you have to returned it on given deadline without any interest. they are many scholarship also the give like PM Yojna for student who are udergraduating.

My campus experience is too good and the campus is also too good. There is annual fest called Blithcron where many events happens this is conducted basically in month of february - march and tech fest named as Amalthea this is in november. The campus also have central library where you can read and go for study and the library contains more than 1.5lac books. the classrooms are Air conditioned and high tech classroom. IIT gandhinagar is famous for its infrastructure and 5-star rated college they provide high facilities in sports they have international cricket and football ground, two swimming pool one is size of olympic, and there are gym faciliites , indoor outdoor volleball basketball court and badminton cout. there are many clubs also which is run by students of IITGN like metis(tech-club), stepup(dance club) GRASP( CP club) and many more.

The college hostels are very facilated with ACs rooms and laundry services. the hostel areas many outlets. Th hostells are COED and there is no intime and outtime. The mess facilities are better than many old generation iits the campus has eat right certificate by fssai. The mess is hygenic and provide good foods

I am currently at iit Gandhinagar , so, the process of addmision is like we have to first clear JEE mains after clearing JEE mains, then you will be eligible for theJEE Advanced and after clearing the jee advance I took admission in IIT Gandhinagar. So, I appear for JEE advance in 2022 and as a OBC candidate i clear the cuttoff of the OBC , which was 89 percentile with 97percentile in jee mains and the appear for jee advance and the cuttoff for jee advace was 56 for OBC candidate. after the result declaration there is couseling for the IITs/ NITs/ IIITs/ GFITs called Jossa Couseling which was conducted by JOSSA and we have to choose college according to our rank and after submitting and paying seat acceptance fee 35K we will allot the seat in repected college.

So, for the addmission the we have to clear two major exam JEE mains and advanced which is conducted by NTA and after clearing the exam there is college allotment proceess and i get college according to my rank. you need to clear your 12th board with minimum 75% and have clear cuttoff of each exam
