The remark is very good in all direction for this college. One main thing I want to highlight that the teaching method is very good and it will be path for success for me.Friendship is the another main thing in our college. Teacher-Student relationship is very good. My overall experience in the campus is good and I love my college very much.
Entrance Preview
Student have to face no entrance test to get admission in D.K College.Students Secured maximum mark in +2 Science and ICOM got admission first,I.e Merit basis selection Process. No interview required for get admission. I take Mathmatics as Hons subject. I chose it in 1st option preference.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I chose Mathematics as Hons,it is difficult for me.But I focus very much and work hard in my Hons subject. I also focusing moor on practical. No Research initiatives taken by the institute. My elective subject in 1st year is Economics and I will change it in 2nd year.
Internships Opportunities
The college also provide internship for their students.I love this one.The average stipend amount is Rs 2500 per year.College provide good stipend for layer cast students.Physically Handicap students also get stipend of Rs 3500 per year.
Placement Experience
The placement process is very good and most essential thing for studentships. About 50% to 60% students get placed by the placement company. The major companies visited to our campus are Dr Reddi,Reliance telecom,Tata steel,Wipro etc.The average salary package is about 150000 per year.
College Events
One cultural functions, one study tour one blood donation camp,two festivals ,one welcome ceremony for new students and one seminar organized in our college per year.These programs are very big.The college authorities contribute More in the above events as well as the organization also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure decided by the college is very good and give able.The college takes college fee semester wise.That is students have to pay Rs 4500 per Semester and Rs 60 as tuition fee per month.College also take fine from the irregular student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college also provide scholarship for their scholar students with Rs 10000 study loan.No I didn't get any of scholarship and loan.The amount of money given to the scholarship students come from govt of India and govt of Odisha.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities in our college is good. We have a big garden in our campus as well as library and computer lab.But no Gym in our college. Yes I get opportunities to explore inner talent as I am a champion in 400 miter race in college.Our college also have NCC department. College also done NSS camp per year.
Hostel Facilities
I am living in hostel from last two year.The hostel rooms are in good condition and the security for this hostel is also good.The rooms are on sharing.yes they have PGs and they taken Rs 4000 per month and the food quality and quantity is good.The hostel campus is very clean.
Alumni/Alumna
My interaction with alumni network is very good.The college provide proper platform for student-alumni relationship. The alumni also contribute in the inner development of college and students.In our Annual Function, The Students and alumni celebrate their thoughts about the college experience and how to take college more devlope.
Exam Structure
Sometimes the exams and labs making me tired.But as I want job in Banking line and in Railway in future, I work hard in Mathmatics Hons.The exam process is divided into 2 semistar per year with one internal.
Faculty
Most of the faculty have qualified MPhil and they also above 5 year experience. They are very much mixing minded with students and the standard of teaching is good.The teaching method used by the teachers are very good and they motivate students in several ways.
