Attendance is not as necessary in this college that the nice thing about this college .
Student Union are cooperative with the student ...
Student environ ment are eco friendly and student have respect towards their teacher.

Dislikes

Office staff are very rude they even doesn't talk to parents properly.
College infrastructure is too bad the bench,desk etc.
Timing for morning session is too early for students coming from great distances.

I have seen scope while persuing B Com (Hons). Student Ratio in offline has some improvement from previously. Teachers are not like proffesional level. Difficulty of exam depend on person effort how much does he put.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 5780 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are convenient and affordable but entire amount of 1 year fees we have to pay at a time . Scholarship process are through online portal only and the formalities regarding scholarship within college are easable

Campus Life

This college doesn't participate in any of the fest. There is library card through which we get the books but books have very old version . Class amenites have nice environment . There is table tennis and carrom available at the campus. Student Union have major role in this college.

Admission

Admission was through online portal only no offline facility. There is some seats reserved obs students . The office staff and other members are not coorperative they are very rude . I want to see that the office staff and management must respect each student properly.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

UCC has good a academics!!
