Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken Honours subject so I have to be more careful about class es and professor's lecture. And our Faculty membars are no doubt help ful for ev ery study rel ated and college related matter.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure and fees paying system both are followed as per calcutta university rules and regulation.We have to pay admission fees and semester exam fees both during admisssion and after 1st semester we have to every semester fees after 6 months.

Campus Life

If i have to say something about my social life in college then i will tell it first that i had got a best seniors. our college has library and sports club both but I have no interest about both of them. But our college arrange best feast.

Admission

As I have done some delay in admission fees submission through online process so i have to face little bit problem other wise total admission process is smooth. i have done admission by visiting the college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Education in Maulana Azad College

I applied for almost all of the NAAC accredited A graded college. In each of those my name appeared for the selection list for admission.
