Interview Experience
Yes, I appeared for the entrance examination for admission. In my case, the admission process was mainly based on the entrance exam score, and there was no Group Discussion or personal interview round conducted for my course. The entrance test was the most important criterion for shortlisting candidates. The entrance exam pattern included multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on subject-specific knowledge along with some general aptitude questions. Most of the questions were from the core subjects related to my previous academic background, which tested conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate, but time management played a crucial role in attempting all questions accurately. The admission process was quite transparent. After the entrance exam results were declared, a merit list was prepared based on the scores obtained. Candidates who met the cutoff were called for counseling, where seat allocation was done according to rank, availability of seats, and category criteria. Academic records from previous qualifying examinations were also considered during the final admission process. For preparation, I mainly focused on revising my core subjects thoroughly. I referred to standard textbooks and class notes and practiced previous years’ question papers to understand the exam pattern better. Mock tests helped me improve my speed and accuracy. Regular revision and clearing basic concepts were key factors that helped me perform well in the entrance examination. Overall, the admission process was systematic and fair, and proper preparation made the entire process smooth and manageable.
