Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electronics and commucation engineering because I wanted to learn about communication technology and about microprocessors. Faculty of the ECE department is good. And most of them have been in the college for a long time so they are quiet experienced. Most of the faculties are PhD holders and have good grasp on the concepts they teach. As for the terms, there are three sessionals condected in one semester and on final examination held by AKTU.
Internships Opportunities
There are not many internship oppertunities provided by the college but since the location of the college is near many companies it is very easy to find a internship if you have the right skills for it.
Placement Experience
The students are allowed to sit in the placements right after the finishing of 6th semester. Many companies visits the campus for campus hiring bas on the skills of the students. Although the ratio of technical to core comapnies is less. The average package offered by the cokmpany is 5-6 lpa and the percentage of students getting placed is about 94 percent. However in year 2024 there is a decrease in the companies visiting the campus die to the recessions.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees at my time was Rs. 1,20,850 including all the extra charges Fee hike through the years was not too high. Any scholarship is not provided by the institution itself but the eligible student can apply for the UP Scholarship and the college verifies it. The companies are called by the placement coordinator in order to get the students placed
Campus Life
The campus is good. There is a lot of greenery in the campus and every department has their own building. There is an aminities for buying important thing or get something photoshopped. There are a lot of social clubs that you can join via giving auditions. Each branch has their own club and there are clubs for dance, music, acting and other co-curricular activies as well. One annual fest is hosted every year which lasts for three to four days and one sports festival.
Admission
I entered the college through the uptu examination conducted by aktu. I got jss college in the first round of the councelling. And as for the rest of admission process, it went smooth without any problem
