I chose the Information Technology course as I had an interest in it and also because it has a huge scope. The faculty:student ratio would be around 1:100. The professors are well qualified. There is a fixed curriculum called CCLA which is followed .

The companies that visit are Arcesium, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, Google, Qalcomm, Atlassian, Sprinklr, etc. Most of the companies offer software development roles. Some of them offer development roles too.

Campus placements begin during the final year of college. Placements are fairly good here. Numerous companies visit the campus and the hiring is done. Till last year, for Btech, there has been 100 percent placements.

The cost of studying here would be around 1200000 for 4 years. There are various kind of scholarships available according to your social and economic status as it's a government college. Internship opportunities are there in the beginning of third year.

The annual cultural fest is called Effervescense which happens around October, The technical fest is called Aparoksha that happens around March, while the sports fest is called Asmita that happens around February.

The hostel rooms are average, there are some rules to be followed if you are living on campus. The mess food is average, it keeps on changing as the tenders change, menu also gets updated according to seasons and students' feedback.

For JEE, candidates must have completed or be appearing for their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The application form for JEE is usually available online on the official website
