Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because I love the subject, English very much from my childhood to the extreme and secondly I had a desire to become a scholar of English literature. That's why I choose the course. The all 6 faculties of my department were very good there. They were very affectionate towards us and used to get us engaged to our lessons. The faculties were very much educated and they were very friendly. So, the communication between we and the faculties became very smooth. There were 2 internal exams and a end sem examination each semester. There were total 6 semesters in our course.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course was not a professional course. So, I didn't get any stipend during my course period. But the course fee was low to moderate. And I got the svmcm scholarship. The amount of the scholarship was total 36000 rupees.
Campus Life
Our college used to have an annual fest every year. Except this, there were many cultural and educational programs through the whole year. The library of our college was very much efficient. There were more than 85k books in the library. The classrooms of our college were very efficient with projector, smart board and speakers.
Admission
Midnapore college had set the eligibility criteria of the course, BA Hons. English for the general category students to the 140 merit point. Except this there was relaxation for the sc, at and obc candidates. I filled up the admission form of my course from the college's official website. Then, few days later the merit lists got published and I got my name in that list. After that, I got admitted to the college by paying my admission fees through online mode. It was a very Swift process of the admission.
