Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBSS out of my own personal interest. However bewarned, it is not for everyone. Its a very hectic life. There are much less faculty available for each student but that is the case in every medical college. All faculty are mbbs, PG and PSC passed. They are very dedicated, if free from other works. Exams are very plenty, almost too much for most students. Passing an exam itself is a hurdle for most people and all subjects are indeed hard to cover
Internships Opportunities
Internship is for one year in various departments. It is a very hectic time and has very little time for personal life, also lot of toxic workplace environment, but also good in that it is very educating
Fees and Financial Aid
Around 30 thousand per month.compared to private colleges it is very affordable. Most books and equipment we have to get ourselves ofcourse, but thats not too high a sum. No financial assistance for me but some have gotten books free as well
Campus Life
While there are annual fests, scattered throughout, only in first year are we able to truly enjoy them. Most people have exams at different dates hence many events can be missed. The library is large but not all UG books of current use is available.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very cramped, too many people in too small rooms for the first 2 years. The meals are good, tasty usually but perhaps not in adequate proportions for everyone. 12 thousand per year, food around 3 thousand per month
Admission
Eligilibilty is based on your marks in NEET, and also depends on your rank in your particular category. Mostly a mark above 630 will be necessary. All application forms and fees can be paid through neet.nta.nic . Applications should be done a month before the exam. To get reservation benefits you must have a valid caste or income certificate given in that particular year
