- Infrastructure from outside is good. College looks great in first look.
- Some teachers are very good, there nature and way of teching is great.
- Many societies are there which helps in personality development.
Dislikes
- AC is not there in classes. Students suffer in summers
- You cannot play games/sports before 2:30
- You cannot sit in library before break. And it is very small.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Information technology course because I want to be a software developer. Faculties are available there. If any faculty is absent then a substitute faculty is provided the same day when the faculty is absent. The faculties here are PhD and some are persuing PhD. 1st year teachers are great, their way of teaching is also good. But some teachers teaching method is worse than the pre primary teachers, they assume students that they are is primary class and teach in that way. Due to covid we didn't get much time for out term exams, in about 3 months each our both 1st and 2nd terms were over. But now in our third term we got about 4 months for the term, so if you use the time efficiently then you can definitely cope up with the course and difficulty level. The questions are definitely easy if you have studied the topics in class or in self study.
Placement Experience
From 4th year you are able to get college placements. Infosys is the company that I know which visit our college. Obviously there are other companies too but I am unable to recall their names right now. Highest packages is 45lpa but it is off campus and was given by amazon. But 6 lpa is the average package of outr college. Very less number of students get placed from our college. Its about 20 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to apply for the TGC entry in the Indian Army as B.Tech is eligibility criteria for that.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the 4 years you have to pay 5.5 lac fees (approx.) Many scholarship scheme came to our knowledge as their links are shared in class groups, so you can apply from them. I haven't applied for any scheme so I don't know the name of any such scheme. On campus placement is getting worse per year. This time the cut off was also very low for joining the highest branch.
Campus Life
Campus area is very small. You cannot roam around in campus whenever you want. The guards are such a pain in your butts. They do not let you walk in the college ground if it is not break time or the classes are over. The fest is annual utkarsh, it happens in the month of March or February. Books are available there, but sometimes you will not get what you want. There is volleyball, table tennis, badminton, football, basketball cricket that are played in our college. For extra curricular there are.many societes you can join. There are societies like IEEE, alfaz, aavaaz and many more.
Admission
For getting admission ADGITM, one need to appear for the JEE mains examination and on the basis of cut-off, we get admitted in the college. At my time the cut off was 1.4 lac for CSE and 1.9 lac for IT. Fee may varies year to year. For 1st year it was 1.15lac, for 2nd year and 3rd year it is 129700 and for 4th year it is again about 1.15 lac. For application form you need to apply for the councilling process in GGSIPU as this college is affiliated with GGSIPU. Application fee is approximately Rs.2500. Seats are reserved for SC/ST category. Addmission process is same as the admission process in any other colleges.
