Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since this was a dream. The student to faculty ratio is quite high. There is a comparable deficit. The faculty mostly consistes of JRs and SRs along with much experienced professors. As the years pass by although portions dont neccesarily reduce, you simply cope with them, needless to say you have to
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual tuition fees come upto 30,000 Rs. the monthly expense may come upto 3,500 Rs. Overall you may need to spend at the most 4 lac at the end of 4 years. This is different for students who have enrolled under the reservation scheme. They often get their payments back viz a viz based on their reservation criteria.
Campus Life
There is much to enjoy at campus. The Campus union is very active and is much keen to organize events. Events are organized between Government Colleges and between colleges within the same union. Many groups lead by each union leader like literary arts and sports club are also established for welfare of students
Hostel Facilities
As one may expect the hostels are not of the best size or shape. In the first year one may have to suffer cogestion but that ironicaly this paves path for much friendships in your college. In the subsequent years you may alloted single to double rooms which will cater to your private spaces as you walk through the medical years.
Admission
I had given NEET exam in the year 2021. That was my third try for the entrance. All India Rank was 2044. Kerala Rank was 179. I was placed by Gods grace into Kozhikode GMC in second allotment. To apply via state quota there is no need for appearence in any state level entrance tests. The rank cut off for state quota was 277 (GN).
