mite is the name of my college having a very good infrastructure

college is having a great infrastructure and very good first class facilities . college provides quality food with no dirtiness or untidiness mite maintains its prestige by taking care of its surroundings time to time the college loots the candidates or students as they take a lot of money in terms of fees the college is a bit far for me and it does not give me sufficient time for academical excellence for day scholars who travel for 1-2 hours

i come through the manage ment there was no interview only a verification of documents required for the completion of the admission was done ,i did not get the course i wanted in this college thats why i ended up taking a managemnet seat in mechanical degree in this college ,i have a lot of interest in mechanics cars and automobiles that s why i chose thus field in order to excel my dreams .

even though the college has just completed 10 years the faculty in every department of mangalore institute of technology and engineering is very advanced and very much experienced all the head of the departments have made immense achievemnts in thier respective fields

college provides placement offers i have never seen any internship opportunities in our college ,they provide us job offers of lecturing only if there are vacancies in this department or course related stuff but no internship is provided by the college in terms of the job requird as experience for the students ,,they either have to be placed by campus selection or pursue higher degrees for better opportunities.

As being in the first year I dont have a lot of idea about it but according to my senior batch mates i have come to know that more than 400 placements have been done in this coming year and is still counting the placements in mite is very good and developing over the years in a period of 5 years it has been the college is getting many placement offers by many companies some of the companies which come in the college are bosch ,infosys ,tech mahindra etc

sentia is an event famous all over india which gives immense scope to the students to execute their talents and abilities in the stage in front of a wonderfull crowd and famous a listed celebrities who have performed for the students of mite the fest called sentia is very famous and very grand apart from this there is onam ,freshers day,and college day( which comes under sentia )

i have wriiten KCET but ended up taking management seat as i did not get the course as alotted as per my rank for CET students the fees is about 56000 INR college fees about 20000 INR BUT MANAGEMENT fees is about 150000 INR EXCLUDING THE VTU FEES ABOUT 1700 INR and ESDP fees about 20000 INR and 10000 INR in the first and second year respectively

nope the college does not provide any loan or scholarship but grants it by signing or giving proof for the availing of the loan or applying for meritorious scholarship or prematric post matric scholarship,i have availed a scholarship for economically poor conditioned people,i have not applied for loan facility but iam getting forced to do so as the college is LOOTING A LOT IN FORMS OF FEES ETC

there are a lot of extra curricular activities which the college support and help the students to execute their talents and abilities which helps them to showcase it in a big stage the college does not resist any of the students in doing and by the by helps the students to showcase their abilities and encourage them to participate in various cultural and competitive programmes

nope iam not residing in any hostel or PG ,as mentioned earlier i am a day scholar i come college bus and go by college bus and spend 2 hours travelling but the hostel facilty is good according to my batch mates the hostel rooms are very clean and tidy . A warden is appointed to take care of the respective blocks of the hostel and take care of the hostel properties . The food in the hostel is very good . The fees is 75000 INR for one person room and 50000 INR for two person room . There are also divisions A/C and non-A/C . Non A/C costs about 50000 INR and 75000 INR and A/C rooms costs about 1 lakh INR . Hostel mess fees is about 20000 INR which has to be payed monthly .

Our seniors who passed out from MITE (mangalore institute of technology and engineering) either have been placed in different companies or have gone to pursue higher studies for better job opportunities , so we had no interaction with our alumni . The college has not yet provided any platform or opportunities for student alumni interaction . But the alumni has provided sufficient funds for the overall development of the colleges as well as the students .

yes,exams are conducted almost every month which is a little hectic for students who go out for competitions as the people who have got less in internals or are absent for it should attend the remedials which are compulsary for such ,as the college is a bit far for me and iam a day scholar i go by college bus and spend 2 hours daily just for travelling which becomes a bit stressfull for us when the exam occurs as there is shortage of time.

faculty are very experienced even though the college has just completed only 10 years of the lecturers in MANGALORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING are very well experienced in what they do the teachers help the students and allow them to clear all the doubts encourages students to ask questions in any department of the college everyone are very supportive in what they do and help all the students to achieve their dreams in engineering.
