Remarks

Generally The college is one of the best colleges in the local premises. But the problems and drawbacks like old machinery and less time for laboratory learning does not allows the students to achieve better job opportunities.Overall experience in the campus was very great and helped a lot to achieve and fulfill my dreams.

Entrance Preview

I wrote a common entrance test termed as EAMCET which is conducted at the state level. According to the ranks obtained in the test we get entrance into the college. The lowest the rank the better the college we can enter. There is no interview process to be followed. Counseling is the main procedure. The interest to learn about the drugs and the manufacturing techniques employed made me to chose the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course that I have chosen was very interesting subject dealing all about the drugs which includes life sciences and organic chemistry. The focus on practical learning in this course is more valuable for future employment opportunities and to discover new drugs. Research initiatives are very less but the Ph.d students actively participate in research programs.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not directly provides the internship opportunities. But the college administration and management encourages the students who are willing to do the work in companies as intern to gain the knowledge and work experience which helps in building up the career of the student. The average stipend amount varies between ten thousand to fifteen thousand rupees.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement Scenario was good. But in future there is a chance of increasing pharmaceutical industries as a part of development which in turn increases the placement opportunities. Generally, the percentage of the students got placed is fifty percent. Major companies that visited the campus include Reddys laboratories, Ranbaxy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite reasonable and affordable if we get the entrance through exam. Otherwise it may vary between one lakh to two lakh per annum. General fee structure ranges between fifty thousand and seventy five thousand per academic year. Government provides scholarships for merit students to encourage the poor people to educate.

Faculty

3

Faculty are very highly experienced and highly qualified teachers like doctorates and post graduates deal with the laboratory teaching and core subjects of pharmacy. They are highly qualified and well experienced too. They are much interactive with the students to know the extent of understanding. High standards of teaching methods are followed

The practical work must be focused more than the theory as it helps the students to understand the subject in more depth . Exams should be conducted only after completion of the syllabus but not on a hurry .
