Likes
- Faculty other than IT branch is good. First year faculty is also good.
- In terms of Academics , the college is good , they provide notes ,question bank, etc for help.
- Hostel Life is good , everyone should opt for hostel in first year atleast.
Dislikes
- Campus life sucks , it really sucks , no active clubs , no fest , gender ratio sucks , peer group sucks.
- Attendance criteria sucks , we have to maintain atleast 60-65% attendance in such a bad environment.
- Maximum people here are mentally unstable , including faculty , students , staff. If you are from convent school , its rare to find good friends with good family background.
Course Curriculum Overview
Specifically in my branch (information technology) , the faculty is not that good , However they are well qualified , but there teaching method is not good , as well as they are not at all serious for our future , But I've heard that in other branches like CSE , faculty is good.
Placement Experience
The average package of the college is 4-5 lacs .... no product based companies come to this college ... TCS is a big thing for this college ... Mainly mass recruiters like TCS , Infosys , Accenture .. come in campus (which is also rare) And the new startups offering
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall academic fee is 120000rs , including tution fee , library fee , extra curricular activity fee e.t.c. Hostel fee is 105000 but the condition of the hostel and it's room is good (excluding mess food). There is some discount on the fee if you've scored more than 90% in your 12th standard.
Campus Life
The life at the campus sucks , no good clubs and all , majorly inactive , only come to this college if you want to ruin your College life. The campus life is so bad that I am not able to find words to describe it .... It was my mistake to come to this college , don't repeat it ..... The peer group is so bad that the students here can't speak even Hindi properly they majorly speak in their West UP slang. The students here are mentally unstable And the teachers too. This college has nothing , neither placements nor college. You will just maintain your attendance in these four years.
Admission
I took admission directly without aktu counselling , they provide a form on their official website imsec.ac.in , you just have to fill that form , that form includes Your personal info and academics info. In the final admission process they will consider your class 10th and 12th percentage. There is no such entrance exam or interview.
