college is very good in the infrastructure ,they have the best of best fest called sentia which is up to 3 days , mite is in a very far place in mijar moodbidre having a little less network connection which is a problem during emergencies,college asks money for each and every thing and becomes very very expensive for us ,they do not give sufficient time to pay it also being in the first semester itself i paid upto 2 lakhs for college purposes even though the fees was 1.5 lakhs. overall you can enjoy a lot in mite ,as they have best faculty with good experience,facilities provided here are really good a/c c classrooms and all

i have not written any entrance examination and got a seat in mangalore institute of technology by management quota ,there was a small interview for all the management quota students or applicants or candidates to attend a small orientation program as well as an interview to confirm some references and details regarding the joining of the student to the college with the chairman or the vice principal

i have chosen computer science and engineering but being in the first semester of the first year we have not yet entered our respective branch being in the first year i have been given chemistry cycle in the second semester i will be having physics cycle there are a lot of courses here in the science section there is mechanical engineering,electronics and communication,computer science and engineering,information science,civil engineering ,mechatronics and aeronautical engineering .mangalore institute of engineering also provides courses in commerce such as MBA also .

college provides internship if there are genuine vacancies in the college atmosphere the salaries for the college faculty are good ,i still have not experienced when asked about my seniors they gave me mixed reactions as some of them said teaching is tough and horrible, the rest of the people said it is a very good experience we get to learn a lot and all

placements are good at mangalore institute of technology (MITE) last here there were about 484 students who got placed in various good companies and still counting they value this college a lot about 75% of the students have got placed in the companies that have visited mangalore institute of technology(MITE) ,SOME of the companies are infosys hewlett packward,JSW,cafe coffee day.

mangalore institute of technology is famous for its grandest events and fest they spend a fortune in making this up there are a lot of programmes such as freshers day,milange,onam,sentia and much much more .sentia is one of the most famous fest in mite mite also conducts tedxmite which helps the students to get motivated and get a good direction in life

i have paid about 1500000 INR as being in the management quota by the by excluding the other fees such as vtu fees ,esdp fees and some other small fees ,comparing to all the other colleges MITE is a bit expensive always have to carry some extra money in your purse or wallet because you never know when you have to pay for such stuff .

The college helps us to apply for loan by giving the requires materials,there a a lot of scholarship facilities which can be found online.

yes the college supports us in extra curricular activities ,thats why there are so many programs fests and events which helps us to show and execute our talents ,thwy are very open to us in attending any intercollege competition and gives permission to attend so,for big projects costing a lot of money college tries to fund some of the amount and provides sufficient place to make so.

no i am not residing in a hostel ,but the hostels not comfortable for 3 people in a room ,it is clean very well maintained there are wardens and people appointed to look after the hostel properties the warden is appointed for the students residing in the hostel to help them whenevr in need of official stuff.they provide rooms consist of 2 people and 3 people rooms there are also divided into two parts mainly as a\c and non a\c.a\c rooms cost a little less than a 100000 INR and the rest cost 75000 INR AND 50000 INR for 2 sharing and 3 sharing respectively. the hostel food or the mess is very good at mangalore institute of technology (MITE) they provide variety of dishes both veg and non veg

There was no such thing as alumni student meeting according to me but the seniors provided funding for the betterment of our college as they contributed a lot giving us an example of what we have to be

exams in our college follows the vtu system and it is a bit unable to remain calm because the college is forced to the vtu system but vtu never decides most of the decision and takes up decisions in the last minute the results are not produced in a bit they give out results after the semester starts nut the college does their internals and lab internals they expect the students to excel academically hence they conduct examination from time to time which is a bit hectic to the students

the faculty members are very experienced in most of the departments they are well advanced in their standards of teaching and explaining the subjects for us the senior staff are very helpful in solving all our doubts and queries there are also younger staff who understand the students in a very well defined manner they help us in all our difficulties and takes up responsibility of most of our work they are really very helpful in organizing the co curricular activities and help us in competitions in terms of building a project or anything.
