Pailan College of Management and Technology is an engineering and management based college of south Kolkata. Campus life in this college is attractive but the quality of education is average here. Lab and library infrastructure is more than average.
Entrance Preview
I joined this college after passed out my 12th(H.S) in BCA(H) course. My 12th class marks was not good and i was interested in computer from my childhood so i decided to join in BCA course. BCA course is direct admission course just u have to pass out 12th standard with mathematics compulsory with 45% marks.
Placement Experience
The worst thing about my college is its placement record. Past placement record is very bad. We got only 3-4 good opportunity in BCA and and college organized only 2 campusing in our college and they was not reputed companies. It was a call center job.salary was only 7-8kmont. only we got 2 good comanies job opportunity,tech Mahindra and Wipro,salary package was good around 15k in joining but only few student got Job.
College Events
Our college has a reputation for organizing cultural program like fresher party,fests etc. College life is very Exciting and full of attachments. It is the cultural event of the college which gives its students a platform to showcase their talents in the various fields.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship or load facility is offered by our College but student loan is available in no a days so i don't think it will be a serious problem for students.
Campus Life

But it has a reputation for organizing cultural program like fresher party,fests etc. College life is very Exciting and full of attachments. Faculties are very helpful and supportive in nature.
Hostel Facilities
Separate hostels are available for boys and girls in the campus.There is separate PG hostel for the girls of the college and all the hostels are well equipped with all the modern facilities..and food was average,but not bad..so its overall have good hoste
Alumni/Alumna
No ragging in our college,never face this in my college life when we join 1st day in college our college seniors came and just take some normal intro they was very helpfull and friendly always our seniors helped us..and we also follow them in future.
Exam Structure
Exams and labs structure was average but for me it was good it was chilled out. Teachers was like our friend they was very frankly with us so for me it was good.
Faculty
Average college. No college can be 100% perfect. It needs some better Faculty members as well as more good management and good placement. Faculty members are supportive and kindly in nature. We have a great time during our graduation.Infrastructure is goo
