Course Curriculum Overview
Chose IT as it was my personal interest. the faculty:student ratio is about 1:60. There are 3-4 faculty per subject which is pretty good i guess. each faculty is highly qualified and have experience. the timing of the semesters and exams are the worst part about this college. The syllabus and exams never go according to the original schedule. Always a few weeks behind other colleges.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The average package is about 4l and the highest is about 24l. Most of the students (>60%) get placed but only 10% of them are the good ones.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee is about 1.5l per year which is the average i guess. They apparently hike the secondary fees like transport and exam fee every year. Yes there are internship and scholarship opportunities before the start of every semester. 'Suntek' is the corp that is majorly affiliated with our internship programme.
Campus Life
The infrastructure might not be that great, but not unlivable. There are a lot of fests in our college, perhaps the most. non-stop from december-february. The library is pretty good with good availability. Extra-curricular activities are a complete wash-out in this college. Only people wanting to be professional in them are given the chance. No sports classes are assigned from the 2nd semsester.
Admission
Joined using a management seat, paid double the actual fee every year. Yes, there are reservation benefits but not for me, unfortunately. Nothing wrong with the admission process as it went smoothly in a few days.
