Remarks

There are good remarks and bad remarks too. The college is best in its teaching faculty . But the infrastructure facilities are very poor and need to be developed. The interaction with the alumini is avoided which does not allow the students to plan their career based on the experiences. The overall experience in the college is quite good and friendly but the sports and extra curricular activities need to developed .

Entrance Preview

There is no specific entrance exam to enter this course. The common exam for medicine and agriculture courses is the way to get admission in to the course and the college which you dreamed for a long time. I have landed up in the college through counseling process conducted in the months of June and July. There is an order wise process to allot seats to the students according to the number of students and the meirt ones are enlisted. There is no interview process to get admission in to the college as it is a very local college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course I have chosen is my aim to become a successful pharmacist and serve the people of my society and my town and to give the better standards of treatment for various diseases. The focus on practical learning is very vast as we are the future research workers to discover and develop new drugs. There are many research initiatives and the electives options are less for this specific course.

Internships Opportunities

The internships are very crucial part of students life. We feel lucky to be in this college as it provides wide range of job opportunities and they encourage the students to go for different companies and gain knowledge in the golden chance like internships. The average stipend amount is between eight thousand rupees to ten thousand rupees and rarely it may reach up to twelve thousand rupees if the student is talented.

Placement Experience

2

The placement scenario is very good these days when compared with the past years of the previous students. The percentage of the students got placed in the campus recruitment is about fifty percent and sometimes the percentage may fall up to twenty percent. The major companies that visited the campus are Hetero, cipla, Himalaya and some local companies like mylan labs. The average package is about two lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is reasonable and affordable by almost all the sections of society. If we want the air conditioning classrooms the fee structure is charged twenty five thousand rupees extra other than normal fee structure to be paid which ranges between sixty thousand rupees to one lakh rupees including lab fee. The b category students and c category students fee structure is around two lakhs to four lakhs as they do not get good marks in their intermediate.

Faculty

3

The faculty are highly talented and experienced. The minimum qualification to enter the college as the teaching staff or faculty is post graduation or masters in pharmacy and doctoral degree in organic chemistry is also considered to teach medicinal subjects. They are interactive with every student with no partiality and the standards of teaching are little low .

The practical work must be focused more than the theory as it helps the students to understand the subject in more depth . Exams should be conducted only after completion of the syllabus but not on a hurry .
