My initial choice was computer science but due to my rank cutoff I couldn't get computer science branch but information technology is kind of similar to the cse course. And as the IT sector is booming right now, I thought it would be beneficial for the future opportunities to grab an IT job with a good package. The faculty and and student ratio is quite perfect. There are many faculty members to reach out and help and guide you through any kind of problems regarding both academic and non academic sectors. Almost all the teaching faculty have done their post graduation from Osmania University and other prestigious universities. The exams are both on theorical and lab. There are two midterm exams in one semester each conducted with a gap of one month. And there are two lab internal exams conducted. If we are able to follow the time table and maintain a regular attendance while paying attention to faculty and their instructions, it's not that difficult to pass the exams .

The companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahendra, TCS and even the internship in DRDO is offered. There are both paid and unpaid internships offered. Initially unpaid internships are offered for the experience then if we are skilled enough for the job a paid internship is provided with initial stipend of 60000 or 40000

The students are eligible for the campus placements in the 8th semester. And many students get opportunities to do internships before their final year as well. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Wipro and so on visit the college every year for potential campus placements. Almost 300 offers are made each year . The highest package last year was 40 lakhs and the average package is 4 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements is almost 70. My plans after getting my BE degree is to perceive higher studies.

The fee structure is simple. The annual fee for everyone is 135000 without any reservations. The scholarship opportunities are the one which are being provided by the government on the basis of reservation . The fees hike can't be seen that often and if the fees are hiked they are done reasonablelly . The EPass scholarship is available.

Apart from the academic activities there are many other non academic activities that are conducted by the college. There are some cultural club bodies in other to encourage the students in their desired areas . The are different technical and non technical events conducted by the each branch for every 2 months. The technical fests involve hackathons , coding tests , mock interview rounds , group discussions etc. Different fests are conducted and organised by student bodies like CSI , IEEE under the faculty guidelines. All kinds of books are available in the college library, related to the subjects. The college administration also encourages the students in sports. There are cricket, basketball, kabbadi and football teams which actively participate in various inter college championships and competitions . There are different student bodies like CSI and IEEE in which the members are elected by through elections .

The eligibility for the course i choose for OBC was 19k. The got admission in MVSR college through councelling process by emcet rank . I got admission in Information technology branch with a rank of 19,045 for BC(b) in third councelling. From then for application is done by visiting the college by submitting the required certificates.
